Simple but Delicious

I’m dedicating this post to a family friend and her son.  They tragically passed away a day ago after a fire at their condo.   Rest in Peace.

The family friend taught my sister and I piano when I was younger, and always taught me the importance of simple cooking.  Food doesn’t have to be complicated, it just needs to be healthy and delicious.  In my own cooking, I have found that I often rejoice more when something simple tastes good than something complicated.
