Hi all and Happy Monday!!!
Chili is one of those dishes that is super easy to make, and nutritious. I tried making chili in a crock pot before, but it just took too long, and everything was very mushy. You’re also left wondering whether everything is cooked and end up putting stuff back in the pot.
This time, I tried it in a frying pan and my very first step was to peel some garlic and cook that before I added everything to get things started.
For our chili we used:
- Canned Sweet Corn
- Ground Beef
- Red Bell Peppers
- Parmesan Cheese (For mine at least)
- Chili Beans (Mild Sauce)
Total Cooking Time: 30-40 minutes (Potatoes take longer to soften)
I never made chili with red bell peppers before, and I thought it would taste weird, but it’s actually really good. We toasted the bread for 10 minutes on low heat before we dipped it.
While the main sauce was heating up, these potatoes were slowly cooking on the side. Afterwards, they were peeled and added to the chili. Again, chili in potatoes…kind of weird but surprisingly good.
The final product??
